Carrier configurations are no longer being set properly due to changes in Android 15 QPR1. Users on Alpha and Beta may need to manually adjust their APN settings and may temporarily have missing features until the next release bringing back proper carrier configuration matching the stock Pixel OS. This mostly applies to setting up a new SIM but may impact some users with an existing SIM. We'll have it fixed soon, but it requires a new release. We didn't have time to address it yet due to dealing with the much higher priority 9th generation Pixel Mali GPU kernel driver regressions which are now resolved by upgrading to the Android 15 QPR2 Beta 1 code for the Mali GPU kernel driver.
After a short test, everything seems to be stable. I'll keep an eye on the whole thing :)

Same here.
A very big “Thank you!” to the developers again!
BTW: It was the right decision to donate again. ;-)
It runs realy smooth now.... Seems smoother then before?!
Now I have found a mystery behaviour on my new Pixel 9 Pro XL only:
For about a week now, I have deliberately deactivated battery usage in the background in the Obtainium app.
And I also switched off ‘Mobile data usage’.
This way, Obtainium consumes much less energy (it is enough to check for updates after starting the app manually).
But on my new Pixel 9 Pro XL this doesn't work anymore!
After switching the background usage to “off” and waiting a few seconds, checking thereafter the switch:
then the switch is “on” again!
This behaviour I can see only on the newest Pixel, not on my Pixel 7 Pro or 8 Pro models.
Maybe it isn't an issue of GOS for Pixel 9 series, but I am unsure…
