Hi,
Since build 2024112700 my P8P started to switch languages itself.
In Settings > System > Languages > System Languages
I have two languages. Main is 1.English and second is 2.Slovak where I live. I want phone environment to be in English so English is at first place. Then I go to bed and at the morning, the top panel (where wifi, bluetooth, auto-rotate buttons are) is in Slovak language. Settings is in English and top panel in Slovak. Then I go to settings to fix this and in "System Languages" when I switch Slovak at the first place and I click 'change' to confirm system language change and back, main settings react to this well, but the top panel don't. I have to remove Slovak completely to change top panel to English. And then, when I add Slovak language again as second language, then top panel stay in English now. Great, I fixed it I thought, but over night at the morning I have the top panel in Slovak Again :(
"One more thing"...in few days, also whole phone settings changes to second language itself, like the top panel do, but this take so long every time that is difficult to play around with it for replication. I do not have second pixel to try and don't want to reset whole phone to figure this out. Anybody with similar experience?

    I tried other language as secondary since my last message: Czech language.
    Now this happen (build 2024120400)
    I woke up, grab phone, top panel was in English and phone settings in Czech. I opened top panel again, clicked on button (security & privacy), this went into phone settings. Now settings is in English and top panel is now in Czech. I have saved verbose system log about 1-2minutes after this happened. But I can't find anything there by myself. I don't want log to be public so I can give it to someone privately if he asks he can look on it.

    So the issue is not only for specific language. Issue is with any secondary language. Have anybody this bug?

    and then used my phone with those settings for a day. I've used other languages as secondary ones, with English as primary, for a long time without noticing anything. Can't really think of any settings I could flip to try to reproduce it.

    Do you have developer options disabled? I think there might be a bug or two regarding system languages when developer options are enabled.

    Do you have auto-reboot set to a low level? Perhaps the phone is rebooting itself.

          fid02 No autoreboot for sure. Not even by accident. But I had developer option enabled. I disabled it according to your tip and rebooted the phone. Now, the language changed with delay, but did not last 24h and now the language changed again. So no autoreboot, or developer option causing the issue.

              BRNko Does the issue persist after you have updated to GrapheneOS version 2024120900?

                I've been experiencing the same thing.
                I believe I first noticed the phone randomly changing system languages after I installed KDE Connect.
                Then once I disabled KDE Connect app, the issue went away right away.

                  zimbaloo Thanks for the report! This information may be useful, since KDE Connect is widely used.

                    It might even be specifically when pairing with another device in KDE Connect. Like the pairing is messing with the language settings.
                    I might be off on it, and it might just be a coincidence with KDE Connect guess.
                    I've disabled the KDE app for now to see if the issue re-appears, I'll keep posting my findings.

                      I have the exactly same problem from time to time. Quick tiles just switch to secondary language. Never had KDE Connect installed. Developer options are off. It feels like this happens more often when I switch profiles. Maybe once or twice in a month or two. I don't switch profiles very often.
                      It fixes itself after a reboot or if I remove and then add the secondary language back.
