Are there solutions for encrypted USB drives on GOS?

On Fedora and most other popular Linux distributions I can encrypt a USB stick via LUKS. When taken to another Linux computer, I just access it after entering the passphrase without the need to install any apps.

Is there something similar available on GOS (or all AOSP based systems)? When working with multiple phones or user profiles, this would be a good offline solution to transfer/synchronize larger files...

N1b No, unfortunately there are no built-in support in GrapheneOS to use encrypted USB devices, and I am not aware of any reputable and security reviewed app that supports it either. If you have a computer device you fully trust, transferring files to and from the computer using MTP is the safest offline way to transfer larger files without relying on any third-party app.

Its possible to do LUKS on android but its not super optimized if unrooted, you have to use the file manager in the app or something that can use the storage framework and it creates temp files when encrypting decrypting

but the quickest way would probally be something like the opensource EDS Light (pretty old now and developer recomends EDS-NG but dosent seem to be opensource that i can find

Android uses userspace filesystem (FUSE) drivers only afaik.

LUKS/dm-crypt is not in userspace, for FUSE encryption, Cryptomator and a lot of others could be used.
