Cake Wallet F-Droid Repository Not Working

Hi there, I'm having a problem where the Cake F-Droid repository doesn't want to refresh, and it keeps just saying "connection timed out."

Any suggestions? I have contacted the Cake team but have not heard back since. Thanks!

Seems like they're having issues, I guess. Personally, I would say its probably better to just install/update from their Github using Obtainium anyway, unless you have reason to be using Fdroid specifically.

And also, the official link to the F-Droid Repo on Cake's website does not load after being clicked. Thought I also might add that.

Dumdum any sources for them having issues? Appreciate your response and suggestion, but I'd prefer if I could keep it on F-Droid. If it doesn't get fixed, then I'll switch it to obtaining.

Just the fact that I tried, and both website and repo weren't working for me either. Looking into it a little more, it looks like the main cakelabs website works but the fdroid.cakelabs.com doesn't, so either the repo/server is broken or maintenance is being done or something. A cursory search doesn't show any mention of the repo issue strangely.

Yes, they announced on IRC #monero that their f-droid repo is currently broken. And as you recommended above, Obtainium is the best choice, atm. You can get either Monero_com-wallet or Cake_Wallet from Cake Labs. The installed apps from their f-droid archive can be updated directly via Obtainium.
If the builds on Forgejo work, you will soon be able to become completely independent of Github. The entire Monero community mirrors their code to the free & FLOSS driven Github alternative.
I am currently migrating¹ Haveno (RetoSwap) and Haveno Doku to Codeberg and librejo.monerodevs.org.

Stack Wallet is an alternative to cake. I use both on GOS and Linux desktop.

Hopefully it will be added to Accrescent again. It was there for a short time a few days ago and then it disappeared again. Does anyone know what happened?
