I'm considering getting a Pixel 5, but I keep reading that many find its call quality poor because of the placement of the top speaker under the screen. There are also comments saying it makes the calls audible to people further away as the whole device vibrates (esp. at lower frequencies). I'm using a P4a 5G (the Japanese one) now, which has perfect sound on calls. It also has a jack port so I can pop in a headset very easily if a call gets longer (which I'm guessing will not be possible with a USB-C connection). It is however slightly larger and heavier than the P5.
Any ideas on this? Any workaround?
