I ran old Revolut version until it started complaining about needing an update if I wanted to complete an online payment.
Finally had a reason to move the app to the second account. Surprisingly, this time installing the latest Revolut version in second user profile has updated the main user's app too, but I already set my mind to completely degoogling the main user. Now happily running Revolut on second user.
Next time I see the "app not compatible" in Play Market I will go ahead and try installing Revolut in another user altogether to update the second user.
Maybe this works for others, so just writing it out here.
