AlphaElwedritsch 2 of my previous phones have had damaged power button due to frequent use (I am not even a rough user, I always press gently at a right angle, towards the center).
Since then I have switched to software for locking and unlocking device ( double tapping launcher or notification bar to lock, and a press on locked screen to wake up.) Since then, never had any problems with damaged power button.
This was possible on different android flavors, but not on Graphene ( wake up on touch is possible, which I use). I can use different launcher on graphene, but I dont want to.
Also, I dont use the small 4a, but the huge 6a, so reaching the power key on the side is unnatural and not ergonomic. After using the super easy software solution (a single tap on the icon, where the thumb is already hovering over), going back to hardware seems like going back to the well for water, instead of the tap.
Finally, if there's a bug in the OS, there is a bigger problem than just accessibility.
Edit: I want to move away from icon to tile, to declutter my launcher. If there is no fix, Ill just stay with icon.
