So, using it to toggle the "lock" feature in the power menu, would make sense?
This would prevent police etc from forcing you to unlock the device. The duress Pin could be utilized too.

missing-root there is a better workaround, touch the fingerprint sensor with a wrong finger a few times to trigger PIN/password. Or better still, don't use your thumb for unlocking phone, we all know 99℅ of us use it.
