Delayed Push notifications.

I had to reset my phone and reinstall GOS as I was getting delayed push notifications, I have done the standard checks to the best of my knowledge.

Settings
> Apps > Play Services App Info > App battery usage > Clicked on Allow background usage > Set to unrestricted. I have set it to unrestricted.

It keeps setting itself to "Optimised" even on this fresh install where I have followed the standard practises to the T and made sure I did not alter anything or F*k with the settings. Does anyone know why this could be happening? It's delaying a lot of important notifications for me.

I was having delayed notifications lately, and it seems like apps such as Signal and Mail did revert to optimized battery. I haven't touch the app settings in a while, but the recent update probably messed with it. I'll keep an eye for the next update to see if it's the culprit.
