Change Carrier Name in Notification Bar

Way, way, way back when when I was running a custom ROM for Android Ice Cream Sandwich. I had the ability in that ROM to set the carrier name that appeared in the notification bar to whatever I wanted as long as it wasn't too long. Is it possible to do this in Graphene OS? If not. Would it be possible to implement in the future? I miss the ability to brand my carrier as $h!tty Wireless. :D

LordDrakkon You can submit the request on Github, I'm not a project developer but I'm willing to bet that would be extremely minority and expect the request to be denied, it doesn't seem like something useful to me.

LordDrakkon You could try: Settings, Network & internet, SIMs, tap on the name of the carrier, tap on the pen icon at the upper right.
