Does GrapheneOS Clock App has Direct Boot?

DeletedUser34 I does, although it supports only few select sounds to sound in BFU. What would interest me, I know it's a system app, how it accesses ringtone file in encrypted storage in BFU.

What makes Direct Boot work is that apps can deliberately place specific files in a different area encrypted with "device credentials" rather than the credentials of some user. Any app can do this, not just system apps. Device credentials are available as the system boots.

This isn't something that an individual user can do. For an app to support Direct Boot, the app author must change where the app stores specific resources, and how it accesses those resources. Developer info: https://developer.android.com/privacy-and-security/direct-boot
