This is the problem i'm having:
When my microphone is off and when i recieve a phone call, i get the option to enable my microphone and i have to enter my passcode. This is kind off annoying because i have a voicemail and it only rings like 3 or 4 times. By the time i picked up and entered my passcode, the call already went to voicemail.
What should happen ( for me personally )
When i recieve a phone call the microphone needs to be set automatically to enabled, so i don't have to enable and disable this setting manually everyime i recieve a phone call.
Is there an option in the current build of Graphene OS for the pixel 8 pro that enables the microphone automatically when i recieve a phone call?
And is it possible to have this option to be disabled automatically when the call ends?
I want to keep my microphone and camera off for privacy reasons/concerns.
I already contacted Graphene OS about this issue and this is what my contact person replied "The way to smooth your usage is to leave the system permission mic and even camera enabled and to deny these permissions at an app level.
You can then leave mic enabled for phone and use "ask every time" for other apps. You then end up with something that works around the friction you are experiencing and still blocks apps getting mic access without your consent."
Where are these settings exactly located? I'm guessing the system permissions for mic and camera are in the quick settings ( swipe down option at home screen ) I can't find the "ask every time" settings for apps. Any further assistance is more than welcome ;)
