Downloaded the app from aurora store, noted GSF required. Have GSF installed. Tried with GSF network permissions enabled and disabled. Similar poor functionality with both. When I try to use the app it regularly gives errors and crashes. When I try to use it through web browser on computer its similarly buggy (doesn't work on firefox or chrome, only safari?!). Not sure how much of it is just a poor functioning service and how much might be incompatibility with GOS. Anyone used it successfully or could advice on how to get it working etc?

Giving napster a shot as they pay artists much more than other streaming services.

I'm on my phone so I can't find links for quotes but Aurora's note about requiring GSF isn't always accurate. If the app is crashing, try using it on another profile with all Google Play apps installed. If it still doesn't work, try enabling Exploit protection compatibility mode in the app's settings. The vast majority of apps work on GOS. Napster will likely also work trying one or both of these things.

A quick look at the Napster subreddit suggests the app is v poorly functioning. Lot of posts from users saying they have unsubscribed from the service owing it to being unusable. Have signed up with Tidal and it's working perfectly.
