  • How does GraphaneOS protect devices from AFU data extraction?

I've seen in the leaked cellebrite documents, that the only devices immune to their hacks while in afu state are Pixels running graphane os. Stock OS pixels, and even iPhones can be unlocked. How have they achived this? Also i saw that they can hack graphaneos devices if they havent been updated since 2022. What exploit was patched at that time that is stopping them from gaining access?

    You can simply disable the USB port on GrapheneOS. highly recommend this, use "allow when unlocked" and you are fine.

    Same as auto-reboot to 18h, which means it should mostly never be triggered except when your phone is gone
