Why is GrapheneOS called GrapheneOS ?

I like to think it's because of the Graphene material proprieties:

Graphene is known for its exceptionally high tensile strength, electrical conductivity, transparency [...] On a microscopic scale, graphene is the strongest material ever measured.

Those are proprieties that resonate very well with the aims of GrapheneOS.
