Offline translation with google lens

Has someone made offline translation with google lens work?

I'd like to know about this as well. I'm getting the "canna access google lens" type error when I try to use the google translate app. I'm able to download offline languages when I allow network permission. Then I disallow after I downloaded. But nothing I do is getting the camera option to work. I even realized theres a google lens "app" ( I thought lens meant the physical camera) and went and downloaded that. Still doesn't work.

I need an app for real time (camera) offline translations with my phone. Pixel 7a.
