App store malfunction

GrapheneOS app store exists but, app packages are gone. ERROR MESSAGE: java.net unknown host exception. Any assistance is appreciated.

Veritas sounds like an error with DNS lookups. Try disabling private DNS and if you use any VPNs, turn these off.

Thanks for responding. Graphene app store has always worked with my VPN. I did take the step to enable App Store and goog play through split tunnel (no VPN) today. It didn't change a thing. Also, I lost all of my apps in the store.

Veritas depending on your VPN, split tunneling might not influence DNS resolution.

Appreciate your help but, its not the VPN which works wiith all other tunnelled apps and the app store worked perfectly through the VPN for more than a year. The app store stopped working today and the VPN wouldn't have wiped out all of the apps in the store.

Veritas Okay, if you're not willing to troubleshoot this properly, I'm out of here. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

I solved the java.net issue by uninstalling my VPN which had become corrupted and reinstalling it. The Graphene app store and some sandboxed apps were affected by the corrupted VPN files. Once the VPN was uninstalled, the other apps functioned normally and continue to do so after the VPN reinstall.
