Graphene install question

Hello all, I just got a used Pixel 7 Pro and I am planning on installing Graphene OS soon. My question is do I need to roll back to Android 14 prior to installing? Currently on 15.

No. Per the installation guide, one of the prerequisites is to make sure your operating system is up-to-date before proceeding.

Just to clarify, that prerequisite is referring to the device used for installing, not the device on which GrapheneOS is to be installed.

Updating the target device OS is recommended, but not strictly required.

The OP was specifically asking about the target device, and your reply that it is a prerequisite to update is technically not true.

The answer to the OP is the same regardless: it's fine.

But I thought it was worth clarifying for anyone who sees this in the future.
