Spoofing the installer app to Play Store

Is there any way to spoof the installer app so that in App Info it says the app was installed from Play Store? Specifically, anything that works in a work profile or private space?

Please don't reply saying "just use the Play Store". I know that.

I noticed that Obtainium has in its app settings - Set Google Play as the installation source (if Shizuku is used).
However, I haven't tested it as I don't use (not even planning to use) Shizuku.

I have a user profile with GPServices installed and signed, and I'm using it to update "such apps" from there which changes/updates the installation source to all user profiles incl. the owner. I think this should apply to work profile or private space, too.

Interesting. I think Aurora has a Shizuku option too if it's installed. But Shizuku won't work in the work or private profile.

I think the only way then is to use a second user profile and in there either use the real Play Store (like you said) (and blacklist the app in Aurora everywhere else) or tinker with Shizuku + Obtainium/Aurora in the second profile.

Yes patching the session installer to support this would be great. I know of apps that only work when being installed from the playstore

Even worse, I have an app that not only works if installed from Play Store but even requires me to be signed in to Play Store. So, the installation source gymnastics above don't help me 😊
