icons lost on bottom bar after playing with app grid

Hi - I am new to Graphene OS so looking for directions on how to report this IMHO bug:

Go to settings > Wallpaper & style > Home Screen > App Grid
Change to 2x2
Change back to 5x5
See bottom bar lose the following icons: a/settings b/vanadium c/camera

I eventually figured out that by going to the full app list (swipe up) and then dragging icons back to bottom bar I could get those back at their original place.

However, just by switching back to 5x5 they should have appeared back on their own.

gr4phit3 they shouldn't and this is not a bug. There is no grid layout persistant storage. Once the layout gets reduced, it automatically removes apps from the grid that won't fit the layout. This change is not reversible automatically and is present in all launchers I've used. It's really not problematic to just put the icons back from the app drawer.

If I would have accepted the layout change, I'd agree with you.

However I did not, so by just playing with the preview I'd have expected for changes not to be persistent.
