Speeduser7533 Currently using Proton (specifically Mail, Drive, Calendar, and VPN). Is Tuta considered by the community here to be a more secure platform? I'm considering migrating my drive, email, and calendar data over to it.
GrouchyGrape I've looked at and spent time with both. Ultimately settled with Proton. No real reason in particular, just like it overall. That being said, I only use it for email services, VPN, and as a backup cloud storage to my nextcloud server.
[deleted] I'd like to know this as well. But there are some things with Tuta that I've seen that are drawbacks: their own proprietary encryption that hasn't been vetted (as far as I know), poorer UI/UX, and a few other things. Not to say that proton doesn't have drawbacks too.
876fi One entertaining article about GPG (Proton uses it), have a read, it is written by a Signal Protocol coauthor - https://moxie.org/2015/02/24/gpg-and-me.html
