Can't Receive calls or texts

Pixel 6a. If I call from another phone it does not connect. If I send a text from another phone it never arrives.

However, I can make calls and send texts from my GOS 6a, so I do not think it is my carrier. WiFi, email, outgoing calls/texts - everything else seems fine. Just can't receive calls or texts. All I have tried id restarting a couple of times. I have my SIM locked so that unlock screen come up first on restart. First time I did restart it did not show the numbers for you pass code. Restarted it again and it works to at least get into the phone.

Any thoughts?

OK, good now. Must have been the carrier as a bunch of texts just arrived. I was concerned because the phone crashed (and I got it restarted pressing the on button) a week ago after 1.5 years of solid use (sent in crash report from pop-up). All good now.
