I recently bought a pixel 7a (upgraded from pixel 5) with GrapheneOS and I am having issues with the display. One moment the colours are highly saturated and I struggle to make out darker colours, the next it can go into a display mode with better colours that was similar to my Pixel 5. I have seen this issue reported on the internet and I can't sem to find any recent suggestions to the problem. Some are suggesting it may be a problem with the phone itself, others are saying that it is happening across pixel 6/7.

I saw this thread and have tried setting my colours to natural, rebooted the phone, but to no avail. I have been through and played with a lot of the display settings but it does seem to do much. The colours seem to be adaptive, regularly going saturated, the brightness can seem to change too. I can't seem to find any more settings in Graphene/android to try fix this problem. I saw a post suggesting the app 'screen color filter' but this app wants complete access to the phones permissions and I am unsure how safe it is.
Thanks for any help!
