No access to certain websites

I need help with my Pixel 7a and my Router (Speedport Smart 4) seetings.
I can not connect with certain websites in my home network. For example, startpage.com and yewtu.be will not work, however google.com and youtube.com works just fine. The problem only occurs in this constellation. If i use a different device or connect to another network i have no problem.

Vanadium is giving me "ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED" and Brave "DNS_PROBE_POSSIBLE". Signal can sent and receive but can't load gif's. Most of the other APPs have problems too.

The problem occured 2 weeks ago. Before no issues.

I tried to disable private DNS and rebootet Phone and Router. No success.

Thankful for any ideas!

It sounds like a DNS issue on your router.

zebresel we kinda need more info to be able to troubleshoot this.

is the Pixel's IP assigned via DHCP?
if yes, what are the settings for DNS for that particular network? Does it list the gateway also as one of the DNS servers or something entirely different?
have you set randomized MAC to per-network instead of per-connection?
are you running any VPNs?
does the issue(s) occur in the owner profile or are other profiles (Work, Private Space, secondary user) also affected?
are internet connectivity checks set to GrapheneOS server?

I was having this issue, too

· don't know, I'm using Mullvad App DNS... Default everything aside from some of the content blockers being active.

· if randomized MAC per connection is the default, which I'm pretty sure it is, then yes, it is set to per connection

· Mullvad aforementioned

· Problem not attempted to be reproduced on owner, only encountered on secondary profile

· If connectivity checks to GOS server is the default, that is what I use, but I don't specifically recall fiddling with that setting

GlytchMeister do you have private DNS enabled/automatic while using Mullvad? That seems to lead to conflicts with domain name resolution.

If you do a DNS Leak Test, are the DNS servers reported what you would expect to see?

GlytchMeister I can only assume that it's impacted by something similar to this. Also check if "Block connections without VPN" is active.

Block without VPN was active. The problem is that I had a VPN set up in RDNS. It should have been able to connect. I tested the VPN with their own app on a different profile using the same endpoints and it was fine.

As for the link... Uh... There's a lot in there, I'm not sure which issue you're referring to.

When they worked, yes, they came back as expected. I was using Mullvad's connection check at the time but that tool does a similar check on what the DNS is doing

Ah ok, yeah, nah, Private DNS is and has been off. I'm pretty sure RDNS yelled at me when it was set to automatic, and that's why I turned it off.
