Update Apps with Obtainium or not?

I only have 3 Apps which I use in Obtainium. I was wondering if it would be more secure and private if I delete Obtainium and install the Updates from the Browser? (I would check every day)

Because if I would delete Obtainium, I had one App less, that has permissions.

I would do that until these 3 Apps are on Accrescent and then I would get them there instead, of course.

Allowing Vanadium to install 3rd party apps seems less secure to me than allowing Obtainium...

Chipper Oh my fault. I was rather meaning to download it from the Browser and install via File Manager App. And then taking the granted permission for that away again.

I used to install and update my apps manually, in a similar fashion to what you describe, (though i didnt keep a tight schedule, once a week or whenever was my schedule) that was prior to discovering Obtainium, which i saw as essentially automating the process i was already doing, but doing so on a more regular basis.. So for me using Obtainium was an increase in security because my apps were more quickly updated when app updates were released. You seem to be questioning (rightly so) the trustworthiness of Obtanium, and for that i cant give an opinion only my experience that it seems to have worked as expected with out compromise. As far as i know... Which is limited
