[deleted] that's not an answer, that's gaslighting right there. I have nothing against the dev, but some of the points he makes are straight up insane.

What a ludicrous statement. I think he doesn't understand what "security" means. Like Firefox and Tor Browser fixing their critical 0-day or Nextcloud Talk being exploited or hundreds and thousands of other examples. Honestly, after reading his response, I'm not sure if I should keep using Fossify apps at all. Such an approach to security seems quite dangerous and most likely suggests that no one takes it seriously.
Fossify apps will be updated in a timely manner to patch them
Yeah, waiting one month to fix the Fossify Keyboard and then saying Sorry for (unintentionally) locking you guys out of your devices. is some next level stuff. Bugs like these (involving data loss) should be fixed within a day, maybe two if we're talking weekends. Not a friggin month!
