SMS/MMS default messaging app on GOS not sent/trying again

Been experiencing Intermittent message not sent/trying again notifications when sending text only and text/image messages on stock GOS messenging app. Wasn't happening until somewhat recently.

I'm aware there are multiple factors that could be causing this but thought I'd post to see if anyone has also noticed this happening more frequently?

I'm on most recent stable GOS update, P8P, 5G cellular.

I think you would be forgiven for not having been able to fully navigate the forum's search feature; in my view, it's not the pinnacle of forum search software in terms being able to present relevant search results.

I found a conversation from yesterday in the chat rooms which suggested that there's a known issue with sending/receiving SMS to/from group chats. Is this what you're seeing? In the chat, a GrapheneOS developer suggested to try resetting cellular settings by going to Settings > System > Reset > cellular settings reset.

Thanks for helping with some actionable info.

My specific issue was not just isolated to group chats, but both group and individual SMS and MMS.

Appreciate the recommendation of resetting the cellular (settings?), will research the ramifications of taking that action and report back here if successful in case others run into this specific edge case.
