Which carrier works best with grapheme is?

I live in the USA and I am currently using google fi. This works great WiFi calling and messaging. I don't like having to have google play services installed though. In a perfect world private spaces would of been able to fix this problem. This doesn't work of course because the fi app refuses to really work properly on anything but the base main account. So the question is which if any service provider will give me WiFi calling and messaging without google play services?

Klingerman01 I am really surprised to hear there is a SIM card provider that requires Google Play Services at all. Then those SIM cards wouldn't work in iPhones for example, because iPhones doesn't have anything Google.

I would say, probably any other SIM card provider will work great without requiring any app at all. And they will all have working Wifi calling and SMS. Just order the SIM card, add a subscription plan or account balance to it, and plug it in into your phone, and it should work right away on GrapheneOS.

ryrona It's Google Fi so, of course, it requires Google Play Services.

You can also use an iPhone with Google Fi as well.

Thanks, when these phones are paid off I'll change to a different plan then. Kinda chaffed having to have google play services for WiFi calling. I have no actual service in my rural home.
