Pixel 6a Google Services Framework "App not installed." Pixel 8 Pro its fine

I have a Pixel 6a and Google Services Framework does not install from the App store - only Google Play Services and Google Play Store. There is no option from Google (mirror) section to have the 3rd app (framework)

My friend who has a Pixel 8 Pro, when he does the same thing "Google Services Framework" also installs.

When i download Google Services Framework from apkmirror and then try to install on 6a it says "App not installed".

This is crucial for my purpose.

Why is this happening? Do i need at least Pixel 8 or Pixel 7 it will install?

coolgrapheneuser this was changed in Android 15. GS Framework has no function anymore and should only be kept for old installs, where it existed before the update. On new installs, Play Services and Play Store is all you need to replicate full functionality of Android 14.
