Which Garmin watch is it? If it is supported by Gadgetbridge you could try to connect it via this open-source app.

I suggest using the Nightly version, though, if the stable version does not support your watch yet.

Is Garmin Connect running in the owner profile?
are Google Play Services installed in the same profile?
have you granted the app all permissions?
did you try to re-pair the watch after granting all permissions?
and probably the most basic one: have you tried turning it off and on again? Both watch an phone.

DeletedUser87 everything works perfectly, only the calls are not signaled and settings are checked several times but what I have completely forgotten (new to GOS) I have of course not installed the google services, could that already be the reason? I had completely ignored this, as the rest works.

variner it could be, you can at least try it. Just don't forget that you need to reinstall the Garmin Connect app AFTER installing Play Services, because it only registers the presence of Play at install time.

I have a Forerunner 955 and I receive the call notifications, and other app notifications, on the watch. I'm running Garmin Connect at own profile, without Google Play Services at all.

I think they were just shy and had problems adjusting :-D Now, after almost 2 days of getting to know each other, it suddenly works ;-) and they only slept on it for one night.
