i use the google pixel camera and i never let it have network access. i usually want the location of photos to be available (though it is also a niche thing, to be honest?), so it has location access only when using the app.
i use google play services on the same profile. cant the pixel camera compile a list of locations and communicate with google play services in this way? i read that for google play services to communicate with an app, the connection needs to be mutual so i dont see why this wouldnt be possible.
so: does network access only limits communication with the internet? i would guess so. also, how would one go around making sure two apps can never talk one to another (i never need the gcam to ever talk to other apps, if it makes sense).
it might be too broad what i am asking, but i am interested in any technical support.
