Private space misbehaves so much that I factory re set my phone and will not install it.
I initially enabled private space no problem. GrapheneOS apps, settings button and lock button, visible along with a horizontal midway thin line, delineating my installed apps from GrapheneOS apps.
Set a pin, no problem.
Lock private space, no problem.
Unlock private space and no apps show in the private space screen, however taping the blank space below the thin line launches a GrapheneOS app. Whenever I launch private space it is always blank... including GrapheneOS apps. I have tried hiding and un-hiding private space to no avail, all the apps including the GrapheneOS apps are not visible but can be tapped and launched, if you can remember where they are.
I have deleted and reinstalled private space, still no apps are visible.
I factory reset the phone and tried again.. the GrapheneOS apps are visible in private space when initially launched, however when I close and later open private space, it is blank again and its guess work where a particular app is located.
Given up.
Factory reset the phone and will try not to use private space.
I could not resist so 24 hours later and factory reset and nothing has changed. private space is unusable, this is just GrapheneOS installed and nothing else. I cant keep guessing where apps are located on the blank private space app screen.
Is this how private space is supposed to operate? I have no idea, but don't think so.
