Hey there,
I have a Pixel 7 and got the OTA update to 2024102100 today. From what I can see I was von 2024101200 (Android 14) before. I rebooted as asked... after Reboot the App Optimization (on boot) started as usual. But the device "optimized" all 124 installed app three times, on every following boot.
And since then my device is stuck in boot loop. Google Logo, Graphene Logo coming up as usual. When I comes to SIM Pin and Device Passphrase it like switching fast between those two, and restarts as a whole. After a while the devices goes to Recovery.
Recovery mentions the following:
google/panther/panther
14/AP2A.240905.003/2024101200
user/release-keys
Cannot load Android system. Your dara may be corrupt. If you continue to get this message, you may need to perform a factory data reset and erase all user data stored on this device

I tried flashing the OTA Update 2024102100 via ADB sideload. The flashing on itself is successful. But then the "three times app optimization" kicked in again. Then it went to boot loop again.
In general I wouldn't have a problem with reinstallaing/factory reset. But in this case I would like to save some recent pics of my newborn son, which are not in my backup (4G was slow in the hospital, I already wondered how I got the OS update file...).
If I can get you any additional info, please let me know.
So help would be greatly appreciated,
thx mitch!
