Play Store... Looking back, it was the most loss of time I've happily carried along over years 😅. (...) It was okay, but one thing made me angry after all: there was no way offered to me to be able to quit the contract with Google about the published app. I thought "how can that be possible in the modern online world?". I am nearly everywhere able to delete my account, corresponding data or file a gdpr request but Play Console did not offer this.
I am not sure, I can go to Accrescent without much time investment on the publishing there. I've now read the link from the other thread here ( https://accrescent.app/docs/guide/appendix/requirements.html#root-access ) and as far as I understand, I'd have to do remove the runAsRoot-feature first or do an additional release flavor to get accepted there?
Anyways, we could probably use the existing gplay build flavor, and exclude the package_install permission as well as root support. Then shoot up the release to Accrescent. What I don't want to achieve is getting more tickets and everyday questions like "why does the release on XY miss the feature A".
