Redeeming free year of Gemini Advanced

Has anyone actually been able to get the free year of Gemini Advanced for those phones that include it?

Automatic redemption through the Google One app failed on my phone. I figured this was because Google wouldn't allow redemption from GrapheneOS. However, my friend has a stock phone and it failed the same way on her phone. Both of us purchased our phones brand new during the promotion period, and we purchased models that advertised the free year.

I chatted with Google One support two weeks ago about my office, but so far I've not heard anything back.

I understand this isn't a Google support forum, but people here are more knowledgeable about technical workarounds and other details, compared to most anywhere else, so I'm curious if anyone here has had any luck getting the promotion to work or knows any tricks to get it to work.

After doing that, the offer should become available in Google One.

spammerofspam it failed for me as well in the Google One app. It showed up in the Gemini app though. I redeemed it on Stock, so I can't tell if it this will work on GOS since getting Gemini working on it was not something I was interested in.
