Play store not showing updates now

Ive been using GOS on Pixel 7, and only using the Play store for a year with no problems. This week in Play store in my acct under: Manage apps & device - Updates. The message says: Something went wrong, try again.
Its been like this for days. No updates are showing up in a list like before. So in Search I typed in apps on my phone, and Play knows I have the app on my phone. But it now shows the message: Update from Play. The app on your device did not come from Google Play. You can update from original source or from Play.

(but the original source is Play)
Has anyone experienced this? What happened? Is there a way to fix this?

KS1 If you go to the Settings app > Apps > See all apps > [app's name] and scroll down. Under "Store" where does it say that the app/apps are installed from?

It says: App installed from Google Play store.

The only other odd thing was a week before when I opened Play store, I had a message to: update settings for your purchases.

This can occur if you have deleted or changed the Google account in the profile where you installed the Play Store.

What's the fix when you do change the Google account in the profile (owner) where Play Store is installed? I did this, and now the Play Store says Something went wrong, try again for app updates, and shows no apps in the manage area. I tried removing Play Store and reinstalling from Apps, but that didn't fix it. Thanks!

Ok, its fixed. I went to GOS App store & there was update I needed for Google Play services. After that update, everything works as normal in Play Store. So I guess that had to be the problem. Thanks everyone.

I figured out my issue. For anyone that runs into this, the cause for me was that I originally installed apps via Aurora and recently switched to Play Store instead. Uninstalling the apps and reinstalling via Play Store resolved the issue.
