Pixel Tablet USB C not working for File Transfer

When I connect my tablet to Linux (Debian) or Windows, the tablet does not show up in either OS's file explorer. I also don't have the option of setting the USB connection rules in the tablet; its been greyed out.
I ruled out the cables and the connection ports; both work fine with my grapheneOS pixel phone.

I tried to boot into recovery and rescue mode, but both screens will give me the "No Command" screen.

Can anyone help me out on connecting my tablet to my PC?

Could be the physical USB-C port on your tablet too. I have had massive amounts of trouble with mine on Pixel 7a, regardless of cable used. Usually flipping the inserted cable connector upside down helps.

Did you allow file transfer from the tablet (notification area) ?
Also, check your GOS security settings (exploit mitigation) that you have not selected charging only

ryrona that honestly sounds like there might be lint stuck in the port. You can try to carefully clean it with a toothpick (there's guides online). We had around a dozen people in our repair shop per day with that issue.

Thank you for the replies.

I installed grapheneos on the tablet with my phone.

When my phone and tablet are connected, the tablet WILL give me options to charge or file transfer.

How do I make options available with my computer?
