Wifi Connectivity Issue with Unifi

I am having wifi connectivity issues that I can't resolve. My Unifi network console shows my device with an allocated IP, but the device refuses to connect to the Wi-Fi. It tries to obtain an IP address and then returns to the 'saved' network state. VPN is off. Kill switch is off. Private DNS is off.

Ive managed to overcome the IP issue by giving the wifi a static IP but its still telling me there is no internet access. I can see the device on the network in my Unifi network console and no other devices have wifi issues. The device wont get an IP address without me allocating a static one and its the same on every SSID on the network. 4G data access is fine. I've tried resetting wifi and bluetooth settings.

Weird, next thing i would personally do is check dns settings but seems like u already did that?

Yes. DNS settings are all fine. The network is saying connected but the device has no connectivity.

I had a similar issue with Unifi USG at one time and was related to the links already provided.

In Unifi, I had to change the display to show offline devices and could see all /24 IP addresses reserved for mac addresses provided by "Use per-network randomized MAC".

I had to manually delete all those reserved IP addresses then my connectivity worked again.

I assume u tried to change the default per-connection randomized mac already to per network randomized mac and manually cleared your DHCP table, aswell as check your dns settings.

So the next question that comes up for me is, is this the first connection to a wireless acces point with this phone? Did u already connected succesfully to another accespoint and had internet? If not, does bleutooth work?

Thanks again. It certainly seems to have something to do with the randomised MAC. There were multiple devices at the same IP in the DHCP table. The issue seems especially acute when the wifi signal strength is low and the device reconnects quickly to the same AP at various times.
