Should admin account run å VPN

If using an admin account to just update disabled apps and pass through calls/SMS with 4g and/or wifi to a user account where all activity is carried out, is it then adviced to use a VPN on both the admin account and the user account or just the user account?

John564479 Just some info:
Using a vpn won't have any effect on calls/sms even over Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi calling bypasses the vpn to connect directly to Carrier servers), but if you use a VPN than the main difference is the network you're connected to won't see you connecting to grapheneos or any other servers, just the VPN server. The other thing is the captive portal check will bypass VPN too, but you're able to choose between grapheneos or Google server for that depending on your preference.

Thanks for reply. Yeah I recently heard that WiFi calling is bypassed by the VPN which is a shame, but what about general internet activity? More specifically, what happens to the internet activity in terms of being anonymous If the admin account does not have a VPN but the user account has a VPN where the internet activity is carried out.

John564479 It should tunnel any general Internet activity such as apps running in the user profile through the active vpn in the user profile, but anything running in the admin profile (including some system apps) will be routed through your regular connection if there's not a vpn there too.
