How to change bluetooth device name?

I am trying to change the name my phone appears as when I am connecting to vehicle audio receivers. The phone name is not the same thing. My phone name is different than what appears on the head unit / receiver. How do I modify this? I can't seem to find it in any of the relevant settings.

to change device name in GOS
settings > connected devices > connection preferences > bluetooth > device name*

*device name appears only if 'use bluetooth' button is enabled.

As far as i know they are bound together.

Rizzler as I said, the name that displays is not the phone name. So, not bound together.
