Is localhost dangerous? (Desktop Linux)

My Fedora Linux pc has accses to localhost. This is usefull for things like printers, but when I'm on Youtube, there is a "Play on TV" button in the corner of the video player. Does this mean that Youtube can see all devices on my network? And could this be used for tracking? Could a malicious device on my network use localhost to attack my pc? How about Grapheneos?

If you're talking about LANs and not Localhost, you should set up VLANs so your Internet of Things (IOT) stuff is on it's own network and your real stuff is on another. You could set up multiple VLANs to separate things even more. Here's an overview:

EDIT: Another possibility is, if you have a spare, old router lying around, put your IOT stuff on that one and keep your good stuff on your current router.
