I'm a new user and currently running Samsung S24 Ultra and have just bought a Pixel 9 Pro XL.
I'm assuming the most secure way to operate would be to download, install and run GrapheneOS from the get go, rather than setting up via pixel standard operating system first, which I would have manually migrated apps/data etc over rather than a straight clone.
Is this the right way of thinking as long as I backup my google account from the S24 Ultra device before sending back? That way I would still have all of my data, contacts, important information etc at least stored as a backup, which would give me the peace of mind knowing I'm not fully locked into Graphene and can recover what I need, without any of this information being installed on the device in the background and only not being accessible while running GrapheneOS.
