I'm currently using Graphene OS on a Pixel 8 Pro with the latest stable build.
I played around with the settings yesterday and used the color correction and color inversion via the settings tiles.
I noticed that I can activate the settings via the tiles but not deactivate them.
After a reboot, the colors return to their normal state when the tiles are deactivated.
However, I am now observing a strange behavior of my screen. Every time I use the fingerprint scanner,
a small window with the scanner appears. The content in the window behind the scanner normally darkens immediately. Now it takes a few seconds for the layer to darken each time. If I cancel the scan and start it again,
it can also happen that the darker layer behind it starts to flicker.
This happens not only when I try to use the fingerprint scanner, but every time a window that does not fully fill the screen overlaps the one behind it.
Another example: If I use the “screen transfer” settings tile, a window appears for the connection attempt with a f.e. smart TV. The screen content that lies behind it darkens abruptly after a few seconds, then brightens again and darkens again. This gives the impression that the screen is flickering.
I have already tried the following:
Reduce the screen resolution and increase it again.
Switch color correction on directly in the settings and switch it off again.
Switch on color inversion directly in the settings and switch it off again.
Created a second profile and ran the example as described above.
Lowered the screen refresh rate and raised it again.
Restarted the smartphone several times.
Reset my launcher.
I also tried so screen caputre my problem for documentation but the recordings does not show the flickering nor the odd dimming behaviour at all.
All my attempts have not led to any improvement so far.
