The Pixel 3 series devices have had no OS, firmware or kernel security updates for years. Its unlikely anyone will work on fixing your issue.
3 series Pixels have numerous publicly known serious vulnerabilities.
For the sake of security and privacy its highly advisable to move to a device still getting full security updates. The cheapest option is a used Pixel 6a. It will still get full updates for the best part of two years.
If you are not able to get a newer device the best option would be to move to using DivestOS. DivestOS is a one person project that does its best to keep older devices secure.
While it does provide security patches for the OS and kernel for as long as possible its impossible for anyone to provide firmware updates once a device looses support from Google. There becomes an ever growing number of serious firmware vulnerabilities.
