As the title states, making any call results be it a regular number or even calling voice mail results on the phone going to the active call blue screen and right away ending the calling [it says Call Ended and the hang up sound]
Yesterday calls were working fine. Today calls don't work. I got the latest GOS update yesterday. I don't know if anything there would have anything to do with calls. I am mentioning it because it does deal with networks stuff. I am no expert.
I am using a Pixel 5a. I know it is end of life but I hope to be able to use this for for at least some more months when I will be able to get new more modern pixel phone.
The carrier is Simple Mobile. Anybody experiencing this issue?
I tried disabling LTE only but the issue still persist. Any dialed number results on an abrupt Call Ended. No tone, no ring. Just blue screen, Call Ended, right back to phone app.
Incoming call go straight up to voice mail.
Talked to SM support, they say everything is fine. After a while, the best they could tell me was to call my cellphone manufacturer to have my the phone unlocked. Which makes no sense. Phone brand new from Google Store, first used and only used with Simple Mobile.
Am I missing something. Help please.
