Pixel Fold and GrapheneOS Camera app

When the fold is open while using the camera app, the screen is super zoomed in making using it this way unusable.
Also it doesn't seem like the feature where you can take selfies with the good camera works as the front screen is off when using the phone open. This has actually been going on for months, but I wasn't really using the phone so I never really thought about it.

1 seems more important than 2, as it's the biggest thing making me not want to use it as my main camera. 2 is just annoying because it's one of the selling points of the folding phones, but I can see why not a lot of development would go into something that only a few users will care about.

I think that to take full advantage of the camera and its options, it is best to install the google camera and restrict its permissions (especially network).

Ok, but you didn't actually ask a question or make any request in your OP. You just listed some issues.

The reply from @ifman13 seems like well-meaning advice that might plausibly improve your experience.

If are only looking for specific types of replies, you should make that clear in your post. There is no need to be dismissive of people are trying to help.

I should have been more clear in my OP. The thread was indended to report what I think would amount to a bug on the grapheneos camera app on pixel fold and an offer to help trouble shoot.

1 I think is a bug and 2 is more of a feature request.
