gos_user1 Is there a point to using storage scopes when an app wants to access for example my photos instead of just choosing limited access and picking which specific photos it can see? When an app wanted to access my photos I got four alternatives: "Allow limited access", "Allow access", "Don't allow access" and "Setup storage scopes". So is there a point to choosing "Setup storage scopes" instead of "Allow limited access"?
juicer I don't even understand the difference between the two. "Allow limited access" didn't use to be an option.
juicer Seems quite half-baked: I am able to select both Allow limited and Allow all, which definitely shouldn't be possible. First, it's a radio menu which should only allow selection of a single button. Second, it just doesn't make sense.
m4ri0g storage scopes trick the app to believe they have storage access... but in reality they have just access to a folder and not full storage. i have an app that if i choose the picture it can access it keeps popping up to have storage permissions. if i give it storage scope it stops complaining.
