I no longer find settings>security>USB peripherals. Only settimgd>security and privacy and no USB peripherals. Where are my USB settings?

Settings > Security & Privacy > Exploit Protection > USB-C port is where you will find the USB security settings on modern devices.

The USB peripherals setting is deprecated and currently only available on devices that are in legacy extended support. It will soon be completely removed from the website to avoid any confusion.

All the talk about how to mitigate exploits via USB port confuses me. I like the idea of completely disabling USB port for everything and either charging wirelessly or turning USB on for charging when at home. However, until that is available, can you please advise how to set the most restrictive USB port security with the current implementation? TIA

    Ollie until that is available

USB-C control is already available. What do you mean? If you don't want USB access except for charging then set it to either Off or Charging Only (in the location that Matchbox told you).
