Simjacker and Portable Wifi Router

Does GrapheneOS protect against simjacker in anyway? If GrapheneOS doesn't mitigate simjacker would keeping my phone in airplane mode and using a portable WiFi router with a sim card in it for WiFi when not in range of regular sources of WiFi prevent simjacker attacks? If not are there any other advantages to using a portable WiFi router other than hiding location?
