Google FI and SIM card

My P9P is running stock android with Google FI activated on an eSIM card.

When I install GOS - I want to use my SIM card.

Assuming that it is as simple as just adding the card to my device and selecting it when activating my carrier (Google FI) ?

... normally you'd have to delete the eSIM first - but with a fresh GOS installation there should be no record of an eSIM _ and it should 'see' the SIM card for activation?

normally the eSIM should survive the install of GrapheneOS. I think there is a option to delete it during the install process but I am not sure as I have not used an eSIM so far.

Aeon ah ok - thanks for that - so I'll delete the esim after installing GOS - and before I put the SIM card in the device...

I think you can even leave the eSIM alone in the Phone just deactivate it in the phones settings until you need it and use your physical SIM, but yes deleting it should be fine if you need it anymore :-)
